Lakshmi Roy started her career at the age of eight, she appeared in few ads which were shot in Belgaum. She won the Miss Belgaum crown in the year 2003. Her debut movie in Tamil movie Karka Kasadara. She was appreciated for her acting the Tamil movie Dhaam Dhoom in the year 2008. For the same she was nominated for the Filmfare Best Tamil Support Actress Award.
